best hardness of sus 410

With the exploration and innovation of company people, gradually formed four major advantageous products: steel plate, steel pipe, stainless steel, special steel.

  1. Stainless Steel - Grade 410 (UNS S41000)

    Grade 410 stainless steels are resistant to hot gases, steam, food, mild acids and alkalies, fresh water and dry air. These steels obtain maximum corrosion and heat resistance through hardening. However, grade 410 steels are less corrosion resistant than austenitic grades and grade 430 ferritic alloys containing 17% chromium.

  2. 410 Stainless Steel Bar - Stainless Steel Alloy 410 | Best best hardness of sus 410

    SS 410 is corrosion resistant to some chemicals, food, mild acids, water, and air. It also proves adequate resistance to nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, dilute acetic acid and naphtha. Elevated mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are achieved with stainless steel 410 when it's hardened and tempered.

  3. 410 Stainless Datasheet - United Performance Metals

    Type 410 is hardenable, straight-chromium stainless steels which combine superior wear resistance of high carbon alloys with the excellent corrosion resistance of chromium stainless steels. Oil quenching these alloys from temperatures between 1800F to 1950F (982-1066C) produces the highest strength and/or wear

  4. AISI 304 Stainless Steel vs. Hardened AISI 410 :: MakeItFrom.com

    Both AISI 304 stainless steel and hardened AISI 410 are iron alloys. They have 84% of their average alloy composition in common. There are 34 material properties with values for both materials. Properties with values for just one material (1, in this case) are not shown.

  5. Specification Sheet: Alloy 410 - Sandmeyer Steel

    Alloy 410 is best machined in the annealed condition at surface speeds of 6080 feet (18.3 24.4m) per minute. Post machining decontamination and passivation are recommended. Due to its martensitic structure, Alloy 410 has limited weldability because of its hardenability.

  6. 410 STAINLESS STEEL - AK Steel Holding

    Heat treated AK Steel Type 410 provides good corrosion resistance to air, water and some mild chemicals. It shows satisfactory resistance to nitric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, dilute acetic acid and naptha. Resistance to food acids is good. In the as annealed condition this grade will exhibit poor corrosion performance and is not recommended.

  7. 410SS vs. 316SS vs. Something else? - Metal and Metallurgy best hardness of sus 410

    Anyway, that might work but I'm assuming cost becomes an issue at that point since 300 series stainless steels are much more expensive than 410. Ideally what I'm looking for is a stainless steel that is hardenable by heat treatment with a case of around 50HRC, but that is also more corrsion resistant than 410 and comparable to 305.

  8. Types 410, 420, 425 Mod, and 440A - stal.com.cn

    Such annealing should produce a Brinell hardness of 126-192 HB in Type 410 material. The higher carbon alloys, Types 420, 425 Mod, and 440A, will have somewhat higher hardness values. A hardening heat treatment is necessary to bring out the maximum hardness and wear resistance.

  9. Alloy 410 Martensitic Stainless Steel Plate - Sandmeyer Steel

    Alloy 410 stainless steel plate is best machined in the annealed condition at surface speeds of 60 80 feet (18.3 24.4m) per minute. Post machining decontamination and passivation are recommended.
